Sale came up against a determined Saracens side at the AJ Bell on Friday night.

Saracens forced a number of errors from Sale that eventually proved costly.

Liam Williams scored the only try of the match with a solo effort darting in from the right hand touchline and evading Will Addison's tackle. Spencer made the conversion.

Sale pushed in the second half, but couldn't find a way through a stubborn Saracens defense.

The final score Sale 3 Saracens 13
